ok... people have been talking about invasion of privacy, boundaries, jurisdictions, individual rights and so on ~~
3. secrecy.
I have just watched an episode of a televsion drama series - ParentHood and well eventually, one of the teenage daughter has a boyfriend and they are
Facebook official and the girl's parents didn't know anything about it UNTIL they 'broke into her room' and 'hacked into her laptop' and when the girl found out about it.. she calls that 'invasion of privacy' o.O
*honestly, I would react the same way too o.O ... I mean even though both my parents have accounts on
Facebook, at least they know when to NOT cross over :)*
well, parents being parents, they will always look out for us through and by all means because they care and love us ^^ ...
but in my opinion, I guess there WILL have to be a certain line for which the parents or anyone can cross over for there are just some things that are meant to be private and for our eyes only :
1. bank account number - amount of money one has in the bank
2. personal belongings - handphone, laptop (that's why there is such thing as a PASSWORD and LOCK CODE and PIN CODE on these items -,-)
still, a debate about crossing the lines is still gong on around the world I'm sure =.= .. and there will be NO right answer ...
however, privacy is something that everyone, no matter who they are, should respect, especially when it comes to other people's privacy... for there are just some things and matters that we would want to keep to ourselves and we will tell when we feel that we are ready o.O
