Know Your DAILY Electricity Con$umption :O
this post is only concerned to those living in Malaysia :)
Do you know what contributes to your monthly electricity bill??? For those living in Semenanjung Malaysia, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) tariff is approximately 30 cents to 45 cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh), depending on your usage - the more you use, the more expensive the rates !
Below is a table of common electrical appliances, a a rough estimate on how much they cost to run for every hour - cost may seem low but even using 3 cents per hour means that you will be paying about RM20 per month, if an appliance is left on for 24 hours :O
- Fluorescent Lights - 1 cent
- Wireless Router - 1 cent
- ASTRO Decoder + Dish - 2 cents
- Table Fan - 2 cents
- Incandescent Lights - 3 cents
- Ceiling Fan - 3 cents
- Laptops - 5 cents
- CRT (normal) TV - 3 cents
- LCD TV - 7 cents
- Desktop Computer - 9 cents
- Plasma TV - 10 cents
- Washing Machine - 15 cents
- Vacuum Cleaner - 17 cents
- Electrical Clothes Iron - 33 cents
- Electrical Hot Plate - 46 cents
- Air Conditioning - 46 cents
- Electric Water Kettle - 50 cents

Birth Control Pills DEATH - Truth or Scam???
hmmm.. I received an email stating that a 31 year old lady died of birth control pill consumption, so I got curious and decided to check on the fact behind it and coincidentally I came across this website - Beware: Information About the Latest Lybrel and Seasonique Email Scam and the article was published 5 years ago :O
so I am still sceptical on rather its true or not =.=, but I guess every drug has their side effects - bad and good and every individual reacts differently to whatever drugs they are consuming...
but after reading the article in the website stated, what are your opinions about it??? o.O
